  1. Develop and implement effective obsolescence management strategies for Thales products and systems.
  2. Conduct regular obsolescence risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigation and resolution.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential obsolescence risks in new and existing products.
  4. Stay informed and up-to-date on technological advancements and market trends to anticipate potential obsolescence issues.
  5. Monitor and track obsolescence issues and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and efficient obsolescence resolution.
  7. Proactively identify opportunities for product and system improvements to minimize obsolescence risks.
  8. Communicate obsolescence management plans and updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  9. Manage and maintain obsolescence-related documentation and records.
  10. Ensure compliance with company and industry standards and regulations related to obsolescence management.
  11. Lead and support cross-functional teams in obsolescence management projects.
  12. Train and mentor team members on obsolescence management best practices.
  13. Continuously review and improve obsolescence management processes and procedures.
  14. Monitor and report on obsolescence management performance metrics.
  15. Participate in product and system design reviews to identify potential obsolescence risks.
  16. Collaborate with product and project managers to ensure obsolescence management is integrated into project plans.
  17. Act as a subject matter expert on obsolescence management for Thales.
  18. Contribute to the development and implementation of company-wide obsolescence management strategies.
  19. Provide guidance and support to other departments on obsolescence-related issues.
  20. Stay updated on industry standards and best practices related to obsolescence management.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Obsolescence Management, Preferably In The Defense Or Aerospace Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Obsolescence Management Processes And Tools, Such As Doors And Windchill.

  • Excellent Project Management Skills With The Ability To Prioritize And Manage Multiple Tasks And Projects Simultaneously.

  • Proven Ability To Work Cross-Functionally And Effectively Communicate With Various Stakeholders, Including Suppliers And Customers.
