- Negotiate and manage complex contracts for Thales in the aerospace and defense industry.
- Provide legal advice and support to internal teams on a variety of legal matters.
- Stay up-to-date on the ever-changing legal landscape of the aviation industry and advise the company accordingly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, finance, and operations to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risks.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and policies.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support decision-making and risk assessment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external legal counsel and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Identify potential legal issues and provide proactive solutions.
- Participate in the development and implementation of legal strategies and initiatives.
- Advise on legal and regulatory requirements related to government contracts.
- Represent Thales in legal proceedings and manage external disputes.
- Manage and maintain contract databases and other relevant legal documentation.
- Train and educate internal teams on legal matters and best practices.
- Collaborate with global team members to ensure consistency and alignment in legal operations.
Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree Or Equivalent Legal Qualification From An Accredited Institution.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Contract Management Or Legal Counsel Role.
Strong Understanding Of Contract Law And Ability To Draft, Review, And Negotiate Complex Contracts.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Strong Relationships With Internal And External Stakeholders.
Knowledge And Experience In The Defense Industry, Particularly In Government Contracts, Is Preferred.
