- Prepare and prioritize work orders based on production schedules and deadlines.
- Schedule tasks and allocate resources to meet production targets.
- Coordinate with various departments, such as production, procurement, and quality control, to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
- Monitor and adjust production schedules to accommodate changes in demand or delays in the production process.
- Ensure that all work orders are accurately and timely completed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of production schedules, work orders, and inventory.
- Communicate any production delays or issues to relevant stakeholders and provide solutions to minimize impact on production targets.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and make recommendations to management.
- Train and mentor new team members on work preparation and scheduling processes.
- Utilize scheduling software and ERP systems to manage production schedules and track progress.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure availability of materials for production.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with production managers to develop and implement strategies for improving efficiency and meeting production targets.
- Continuously monitor production processes to identify and resolve any issues that may affect productivity or quality.
- Participate in regular meetings and provide updates on production schedules and progress to management.
A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Production Planning, Scheduling, Or Work Preparation In A Manufacturing Environment.
Knowledge Of Lean Manufacturing Principles And Continuous Improvement Methodologies.
Proficiency In Using Scheduling Software And Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills With The Ability To Prioritize Tasks And Meet Deadlines.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Communicate With Stakeholders.
