Job Description

Look no further, because Textron is seeking a dedicated and skilled Shop Foreman for our 3rd Shift at our DEN location. As the Shop Foreman, you will play a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of our shop and ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and at the highest quality. We are looking for a team-oriented individual with strong communication skills and a strong background in the automotive or aviation industry.   1. Oversee daily operations of the shop, including scheduling, assigning work, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  2. Monitor and maintain quality control to ensure all work meets company standards.
  3. Train, mentor, and supervise shop employees, providing guidance and support as needed.
  4. Maintain a safe and productive work environment, enforcing safety guidelines and addressing any safety concerns.
  5. Communicate effectively with team members, other departments, and upper management to ensure smooth operations and address any issues or concerns.
  6. Utilize strong mechanical knowledge and experience to troubleshoot and solve complex problems that may arise.
  7. Keep accurate records of inventory, equipment, and maintenance needs.
  8. Continuously improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity in the shop.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to ensure the shop is using the most efficient and effective methods.
  10. Act as a role model for professionalism, work ethic, and dedication to excellence within the team.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Leadership Or Supervisory Role, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Production Environment.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Shop Floor Operations, Including Safety Protocols, Quality Control, And Production Processes.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Communicate With Employees At All Levels.

  • Familiarity With Lean Manufacturing Principles And Experience Implementing Process Improvements To Increase Efficiency And Productivity.

  • Ability To Work Independently And Make Sound Decisions Under Pressure, With A Strong Attention To Detail And A Commitment To Meeting Deadlines.
