
Sheet Metal Technician Lead

- Supervise and lead a team of sheet metal technicians, ensuring their work is completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
- Utilize extensive knowledge and experience in sheet metal fabrication and repair to guide and advise the team.
- Monitor and evaluate the team's performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed to improve productivity and skill level.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe work environment for all team members.
- Identify and troubleshoot any issues or challenges that may arise during the fabrication and repair process, and provide effective solutions.
- Train and develop new team members, providing guidance and support to help them succeed in their roles.
- Maintain equipment and tools used in sheet metal fabrication and repair, ensuring they are in good working condition and properly maintained.
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any concerns.
- Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity within the team.
Proficiency In Reading And Interpreting Engineering Drawings And Blueprints.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Sheet Metal Fabrication And Assembly.
Strong Leadership Skills With Experience In Supervising And Training A Team Of Technicians.
Knowledge Of Various Sheet Metal Materials And Their Properties, As Well As Experience With Various Fabrication Techniques.
Ability To Use And Operate Various Sheet Metal Tools And Equipment, Such As Shears, Brakes, And Laser Cutters.
