Bachelor's Degree In Engineering: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Engineering, Preferably In Mechanical, Electrical Or Aerospace Engineering, Is Required For This Role. A Higher Degree Such As A Master's In Engineering Or Business Administration May Also Be Preferred.
Previous Experience In Product Development: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience In Product Development, Preferably In A Leadership Role. This Experience Should Include Managing Cross-Functional Teams, Developing And Launching New Products, And Working With Suppliers And Customers.
Strong Technical Skills: The Product Development Engineering Manager Should Have A Strong Technical Background And Be Able To Understand Complex Engineering Concepts. They Should Also Have Experience With Cad Software, Engineering Analysis Tools, And Project Management Software.
Leadership And Team Management Skills: This Role Requires Strong Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage A Team Of Engineers And Other Professionals. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Leading And Motivating Teams, Setting Goals And Priorities, And Resolving Conflicts.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Product Development Engineering Manager Will Be Responsible For Collaborating With Various Stakeholders Such As Designers, Engineers, Suppliers, And Customers.
