Job Description

At Textron, we are seeking a highly qualified and experienced MRB Engineer to join our team and support our ROC Drives program. As an MRB Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our ROC Drives systems, utilizing your expertise in Material Review Board (MRB) processes and procedures.   1. Review and analyze engineering and manufacturing data to determine the root cause of non-conformances and discrepancies in the ROC Drives systems.
  2. Utilize industry-standard Material Review Board (MRB) processes and procedures to evaluate and disposition non-conformances and discrepancies.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and production, to develop and implement solutions for non-conformances and discrepancies.
  4. Conduct thorough investigations and testing to determine the impact of non-conformances on the overall performance and reliability of the ROC Drives systems.
  5. Create and maintain detailed reports and documentation of MRB activities, including non-conformance dispositions, corrective actions, and follow-up actions.
  6. Provide technical support and guidance to production teams to ensure compliance with MRB processes and procedures.
  7. Conduct regular reviews and audits of MRB processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in MRB processes and procedures, and incorporate best practices into the ROC Drives program.
  9. Act as a subject matter expert on MRB processes and procedures, providing training and mentorship to junior engineers and team members as needed.
  10. Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all MRB activities to ensure the quality and reliability of the ROC Drives systems.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering Or Related Field From An Accredited University.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Design, Development, And Testing Of Mechanical Systems, Preferably In The Aerospace Or Automotive Industry.

  • Proficiency In Cad Software And Experience With Statistical Analysis Tools.

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements And Standards For Aerospace Systems, Such As Faa Regulations And Mil-Std Specifications.

  • Strong Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Both Independently And In A Team Environment.
