Material Handler - Second Shift

1. Perform daily inventory checks and maintain accurate records of all materials in the production facility.
2. Safely and efficiently operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move materials from storage areas to production lines.
3. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of materials and products to meet production deadlines.
4. Conduct quality checks on incoming and outgoing materials to ensure they meet company standards.
5. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while handling and transporting materials.
6. Identify and report any damaged or defective materials to the appropriate personnel.
7. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient working environment.
8. Assist in loading and unloading trucks and trailers, as needed.
9. Follow standard operating procedures for material handling and storage to optimize efficiency.
10. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth flow of materials and products.
11. Continuously look for ways to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
12. Train and mentor new material handlers to ensure they are following proper procedures and guidelines.
13. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, quality, and confidentiality.
14. Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
