- Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on various aircraft models including inspections, repairs, and modifications in accordance with FAA regulations and Textron's standards.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to identify and resolve any issues.
- Ensure all work performed meets quality and safety standards.
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding maintenance tasks, schedules, and any concerns.
- Utilize technical manuals and diagrams to properly perform maintenance tasks.
- Keep track of inventory and order necessary parts and equipment as needed.
- Adhere to Textron's safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and advancements in aircraft technology.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance processes.
- Mentor and train junior mechanics as needed.
- Available for on-call and overtime work as required.
- Represent Textron in a professional and positive manner at all times.
- Continuously strive for excellence and contribute to the overall success of the maintenance team.
Faa Certification: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Valid Faa Airframe And Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic Certificate, Demonstrating Their Knowledge And Expertise In Aircraft Maintenance And Repair.
Relevant Experience: A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience As An A&P Mechanic, Preferably In An Aviation Manufacturing Or Maintenance Environment, Is Required For This Position. The Candidate Should Be Well-Versed In Troubleshooting, Repairing And Maintaining Various Types Of Aircraft.
Technical Skills: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Mechanical, Electrical And Avionics Systems, As Well As Proficiency In Using Various Hand And Power Tools. They Should Also Have Experience Working With Complex Aircraft Systems And Components.
