  1. Develop and implement efficient and effective methods for producing composite materials for our aircraft.
  2. Utilize your expertise and knowledge of composite manufacturing to ensure high-quality and cost-effective production processes.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes and improve overall product quality.
  4. Conduct research and analysis to identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  5. Monitor production processes and identify and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
  6. Create and maintain documentation related to manufacturing processes, including standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  7. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all manufacturing processes.
  8. Keep up-to-date with advancements and new technologies in composite manufacturing and make recommendations for their implementation.
  9. Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on composite manufacturing techniques and processes.
  10. Participate in design review meetings to provide input on the manufacturability of composite components.
  11. Collaborate with suppliers to source and qualify new materials and processes.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce production costs.
  13. Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline manufacturing processes.
  14. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure the safety and efficiency of the manufacturing process.
  15. Act as a key contributor to support the company's goals and objectives for growth and profitability.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or Related Field: A Fundamental Requirement For A Composite Manufacturing Engineer At Textron Is A Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field Such As Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Or Aerospace Engineering. This Educational Background Provides The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Understand And Effectively Work With Composite Materials.

  • Experience In Composite Manufacturing: Textron Looks For Candidates Who Have Experience In Composite Manufacturing Processes, Such As Layup, Curing, Trimming, And Inspection.
