- Greet and welcome visitors to Textron, representing the company in a professional and friendly manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable department.
- Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts payable transactions.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to resolve any payment-related issues.
- Collaborate with team members to meet departmental goals and deadlines.
- Stay updated on company policies and procedures related to accounts payable.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and analysis for management.
- Continuously seek process improvements and provide suggestions for efficiency and effectiveness.

Bachelor's Degree In Accounting Or Finance: A Strong Foundation In Accounting Principles And Financial Analysis Is Essential For Success In An Associate, Accounts Payable Role At Textron.
Prior Experience In Accounts Payable: Candidates Should Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience In An Accounts Payable Role, Preferably In A Corporate Setting. This Will Ensure They Have A Solid Understanding Of The Ap Process And Can Hit The Ground Running.
Familiarity With Accounting Software: Proficiency In Using Accounting Software, Such As Sap Or Oracle, Is Highly Desired For This Position. Candidates Should Be Comfortable Navigating These Systems And Be Able To Learn New Software Quickly.
Attention To Detail: Accuracy And Attention To Detail Are Critical In Accounts Payable, As Even A Small Error Can Have Significant Consequences. Candidates Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Work Efficiently And Accurately.
Strong Communication Skills: Associates In Accounts Payable Will Be Working Closely With Vendors, Internal Teams, And Other Stakeholders. Therefore, Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are Essential For This Role. Candidates Should Be Able To Clearly And Professionally Communicate With Others, Both Inside And Outside Of The Company.
