A&P Mechanic - Jr Mobile Service Technician

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Textron aircrafts according to company standards and procedures.
- Conduct thorough inspections of aircrafts, identifying and troubleshooting any potential issues.
- Accurately document all maintenance and repair work in accordance with FAA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Collaborate with other technicians and departments to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on aircrafts.
- Continuously strive to improve and expand technical knowledge and skills through training and development opportunities.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing and resolving any concerns or issues raised by clients.
- Follow company policies and procedures, as well as all federal aviation regulations, to ensure compliance and safety.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and parts used for each aircraft.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement and innovation.
- Assist in maintaining an inventory of necessary tools, equipment, and parts.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and changes to ensure the highest level of service and expertise.
- Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Faa Airframe And Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic Certificate: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Valid A&P Mechanic Certificate Issued By The Federal Aviation Administration (Faa), Indicating Their Knowledge And Competency In Maintaining And Repairing Aircraft.
Previous Experience In Aviation Maintenance: Textron Is Looking For Candidates With At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Aircraft Maintenance, Preferably In A Mobile Service Or Field Service Environment. This Experience Should Include Working With Various Aircraft Models And Systems, Troubleshooting And Repairing Mechanical And Electrical Issues, And Performing Routine Inspections And Maintenance Tasks.
Strong Technical And Mechanical Skills: A Successful A&P Mechanic Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Aircraft Systems And Be Able To Read And Interpret Technical Manuals And Blueprints. They Should Also Possess Excellent Mechanical Skills And Be Able To Use A Variety Of Hand And Power Tools To Perform Repairs And Installations.
Ability To Work Independently: As A Jr Mobile Service Technician, The Candidate Will Be Working In A Mobile Service Unit And Must Be Able To Work Independently And Efficiently. This Role Requires Strong Time Management Skills And The Ability To Prioritize Tasks To Meet Tight Deadlines.
Customer Service And Communication Skills: Textron Values Candidates Who Have Excellent Customer Service Skills And Can Effectively Communicate With Customers And Team Members. A Jr Mobile Service Technician Must Be Able To Explain Technical Issues And Solutions In A Clear And Professional Manner To Customers And Provide Updates On Repair Progress.
