Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated PVD Equipment Engineer to join our team at Texas Instruments.   1. Design and Develop PVD Equipment: Design, develop and implement state-of-the-art PVD equipment for semiconductor device manufacturing processes.
  2. Manage Equipment Maintenance: Manage the maintenance of PVD equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  3. Troubleshoot Equipment Issues: Utilize technical expertise and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve any equipment issues that may arise.
  4. Optimize Manufacturing Processes: Continuously monitor and analyze PVD equipment performance to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimize manufacturing processes.
  5. Develop and Implement Upgrades: Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement equipment upgrades for improved efficiency and productivity.
  6. Monitor Equipment Performance: Regularly monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  7. Train and Mentor Team Members: Train and mentor team members on PVD equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques.
  8. Ensure Compliance: Ensure all PVD equipment is compliant with company, industry, and safety standards.
  9. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including process engineers, technicians, and production personnel, to ensure seamless integration of PVD equipment into the manufacturing process.
  10. Document and Report: Maintain accurate documentation and reports on equipment performance, maintenance, and upgrades.
  11. Stay Current with Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in PVD equipment and processes to continuously improve and innovate.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Pvd (Physical Vapor Deposition) Equipment Engineering.

  • Proficiency In Operating And Troubleshooting Sm (Sputtering And Evaporation) Thin Film Pvd Equipment.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Semiconductor Industry And Processes, Specifically Thin Film Deposition Techniques.

  • Ability To Work Independently And In A Team Environment, With Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills.
