We're looking for an experienced Patent Attorney to join our team and act as a subject matter expert on all intellectual property matters. The ideal candidate has a Juris Doctor degree and advanced knowledge of the patent process, including drafting intellectual property applications, patent searches, and providing legal advice to the company. We're looking for a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about intellectual property law and is willing to collaborate with a wide variety of internal teams. Responsibilities:
- Drafting intellectual property applications, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights
- Performing patent searches to ensure no existing patents are infringed upon
- Working with internal teams to identify and protect intellectual property
- Providing legal advice and guidance on intellectual property matters
- Representing the company in intellectual property disputes and litigation
- Advising management on any changes to the patent process
- Monitoring changes in patent law and regulations
- Networking with outside professionals to stay up to date on intellectual property matters
