- Develop and implement statistical strategies for global therapy areas in alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage a team of statisticians to ensure timely and high-quality statistical deliverables.
- Provide statistical expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams, including clinical development, regulatory affairs, and commercial teams.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design and execute clinical trials, including sample size determination, statistical analysis plans, and data interpretation.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in statistical methodologies, and apply them to enhance decision-making processes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to statistical methods and data analysis.
- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making as a member of the senior leadership team.
- Act as a key point of contact for statistical inquiries from regulatory agencies, and support the preparation and submission of regulatory documents.
- Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support for their professional growth.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the statistical team and across the organization.
- Represent the company at external conferences and scientific meetings, and contribute to publications and presentations.
- Collaborate with other global therapy area heads and senior leaders to drive cross-functional initiatives and achieve company objectives.
- Develop and manage budgets for statistical activities and resources.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the executive leadership team.
Advanced Degree In Statistics Or A Related Field: A Senior Director, Therapy Area Head, Global Statistics At Teva Pharmaceutical Usa Should Possess An Advanced Degree In Statistics, Biostatistics, Or A Related Field Such As Mathematics Or Data Science. This Ensures That The Individual Has The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Lead Statistical Analyses And Provide Strategic Guidance For The Therapy Area.
Extensive Experience In Biostatistics: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Biostatistics, With A Strong Focus On Clinical Trials.
