R&D Technician

Receive and dispense DEA samples and standards for testing as requested by laboratory personnel. Assist in the disposition of DEA samples and reference standards in a compliant manner, including final accountability of waste. Manage and maintain an up-to-date of DEA samples/reference standards/API inventory. Perform annual/biennial inventories count and maintain records in compliance with DEA regulations. Maintain chain of custody records for DEA samples and reference standards. Segregate expired DEA samples/reference standards. Enter information in the DEA database/logbooks. Maintain and organize DEA room and monitor logbooks/COA. Work with DEA Compliance office to ensure compliance with all State and Federal Controlled Substance Regulations. Prepare and participate in DEA/cGMP/FDA/internal audit.
