You will be responsible for conducting independent monitoring and evaluation of project activities, assessing progress and impact, and providing valuable insights to our clients and partners.To excel in this role, you must have a strong background in monitoring and evaluation, with a deep understanding of international development principles and practices.   1. Conduct Independent Monitoring: Conduct independent monitoring of development programs and projects to ensure successful implementation.
  2. Evaluate Project Activities: Evaluate project activities to assess progress and impact and provide valuable insights to clients and partners.
  3. Utilize Monitoring and Evaluation Expertise: Utilize your strong background in monitoring and evaluation to ensure efficient and effective project implementation.
  4. Apply International Development Principles: Apply your knowledge of international development principles and practices to guide project monitoring and evaluation processes.
  5. Communicate Effectively: Communicate monitoring and evaluation findings and recommendations to clients, partners, and project teams in a clear and concise manner.
  6. Analyze Data: Analyze data collected through monitoring and evaluation processes to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  7. Problem-Solve: Use your strong analytical skills to identify and address challenges and issues that may arise during project implementation.
  8. Work in Cross-Cultural and Multi-Disciplinary Teams: Collaborate effectively with team members from diverse backgrounds and disciplines to achieve project goals.
  9. Stay Updated on Best Practices: Stay up-to-date on the latest developments and best practices in monitoring and evaluation to continuously improve processes and methodologies.
  10. Uphold Ethical Standards: Adhere to ethical standards and guidelines in all monitoring and evaluation activities.
  11. Support Project Management: Provide support to project management teams by providing timely and accurate monitoring and evaluation data.
  12. Contribute to a Positive Work Environment: Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting teamwork, respect, and open communication among team members.
  13. Represent Tetra Tech: Represent Tetra Tech in a professional and positive manner when interacting with clients, partners, and other stakeholders.
  14. Contribute to Mission and Vision: Contribute to Tetra Tech's mission and vision of improving the quality of life and the environment through your work as a Third-Party Monitoring Expert.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, International Development, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Third-Party Monitoring Or Evaluation, Preferably In The International Development Sector.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Project Monitoring And Evaluation Techniques, Including Data Collection, Analysis, And Reporting.

  • Strong Understanding Of International Development Programs And Policies, Particularly In The Areas Of Natural Resource Management, Climate Change, And Environmental Sustainability.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Diverse Stakeholders, Including Project Staff, Government Officials, And Local Communities.
