Sustainable Design Consultant

Tetra Tech is looking for an experienced Sustainable Design Consultant to join our team! Our ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, self-starter, and collaborator who can bring fresh ideas to the table and inspire others.To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in sustainable design and a portfolio of projects that demonstrate your design skills. You should also have experience in project management and be able to lead a team of diverse professionals. Your strong organizational and interpersonal skills will be essential for success in this role. A degree in architecture, urban planning, sustainability, engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage sustainability projects from concept to completion, including managing team members and providing direction and feedback.
2. Develop and present sustainable design concepts to clients, stakeholders, and other design professionals.
3. Lead design sessions and collaborate with team members to develop creative solutions.
4. Research new materials and technologies related to sustainable design and present findings to the team.
5. Prepare and present project reports to clients and stakeholders.
6. Monitor project progress and budgets, and adjust plans as needed.
7. Generate innovative ideas for improving sustainability initiatives.
8. Stay informed of the latest industry trends and best practices in sustainable design.
9. Develop and implement sustainable design strategies.
10. Mentor and train junior team members.
