Senior Civil Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Civil Engineer with a proven track record of success in civil engineering for a full-time role at Tetra Tech. This position requires a strong background in civil engineering principles and practices, with excellent project management and problem solving skills. This individual must be able to work in a team environment and be able to manage and coordinate projects from start to finish. The successful candidate should be able to provide technical guidance and direction to junior engineers and other team members.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, 10+ years of experience in the industry, a Professional Engineer's license, and a deep understanding of civil engineering design and construction principles. The Senior Civil Engineer must be able to interpret and apply applicable codes and regulations, and possess a strong commitment to quality and safety. The ability to work collaboratively and effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders is essential. The Senior Civil Engineer should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to handle multiple tasks with no supervision.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise junior civil engineers and other team members to ensure effective project execution.
2. Develop and implement civil engineering plans, designs, and specifications.
3. Analyze data and develop strategies to complete projects within established budgets and timelines.
4. Interpret and apply applicable codes and regulations to ensure compliance.
5. Manage and coordinate projects from start to finish, including design, construction, and quality assurance.
6. Oversee and review project documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
7. Monitor project progress and provide technical guidance and direction as needed.
8. Maintain and foster strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
9. Develop and implement quality and safety standards for all civil engineering projects.
10. Provide technical presentations and reports as needed.
