Permit Specialist

Tetra Tech is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Permit Specialist to join our team. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and understands the complexity of permit requirements. The Permit Specialist will be responsible for obtaining, organizing, and tracking all necessary permits, as well as working with local, state, and federal agencies to ensure compliance.The ideal candidate for this position will have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, planning, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in permit processing. They should have strong written and verbal communication skills, and be comfortable working in fast-paced environments. Additionally, they should have experience navigating permitting databases and be highly knowledgeable in local, state, and federal regulations.
