  1. Conduct fieldwork to collect data and samples for environmental projects.
  2. Follow established protocols and procedures for logging and data collection.
  3. Operate and maintain field equipment and instruments.
  4. Assist in the installation and maintenance of environmental monitoring systems.
  5. Conduct field surveys and mapping activities.
  6. Analyze and interpret data collected in the field.
  7. Prepare detailed reports and documents summarizing field activities and findings.
  8. Collaborate with project managers and team members to develop project plans and strategies.
  9. Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
  11. Adhere to health and safety standards and protocols.
  12. Maintain accurate and organized records of field activities and data.
  13. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  14. Represent Tetra Tech in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
  15. Contribute to the overall success of the team and company by taking on additional responsibilities and tasks, as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Forestry, Natural Resource Management, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 2 Years Of Experience In Forest Inventory, Timber Cruising, And/Or Field Data Collection.

  • Knowledge Of Forest Management Practices, Including Timber Harvesting And Reforestation.

  • Proficiency In Using Gps And Other Field Data Collection Equipment.

  • Strong Physical Fitness And Ability To Work Long Hours In Remote Locations, Often In Adverse Weather Conditions.
