GIS Technician

Tetra Tech is looking for an experienced and detail oriented Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Technician to join our team. As a GIS Technician, you will be responsible for using GIS technology to support our clients’ mapping and geographic analysis needs. • Utilize GIS software to create, manage, and analyze spatial data
• Develop mapping projects and applications to meet client needs
• Create high-quality cartographic products to support client projects
• Troubleshoot GIS software and hardware to ensure efficient operations
• Compile and analyze geographic data to produce informative reports
• Manage GIS databases and coordinate with other technical personnel
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of GIS technology and industry trends
• Work collaboratively with other members of the GIS team to ensure successful project completion
