  1. Conduct geotechnical investigations and analysis to support the design and construction of various projects.
  2. Evaluate site conditions and provide recommendations for foundation design, slope stability, and other geotechnical considerations.
  3. Utilize geotechnical software and tools to analyze data and produce reports.
  4. Collaborate with project teams to ensure geotechnical considerations are incorporated into overall project design.
  5. Communicate and coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to address geotechnical concerns and ensure compliance with regulations.
  6. Conduct site visits and inspections to assess geotechnical conditions and provide recommendations for construction activities.
  7. Manage and review geotechnical data and reports prepared by junior engineers and technicians.
  8. Stay updated with industry advancements and best practices, and incorporate them into project design and analysis.
  9. Assist in preparing proposals and bids for new projects.
  10. Adhere to project timelines and budgets while maintaining high-quality standards.
  11. Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise and support to project teams.
  12. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on site.
  13. Mentor and train junior engineers and technicians in geotechnical engineering principles and practices.
  14. Demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering excellent client service and maintaining positive relationships with clients.
  15. Represent Tetra Tech in a professional and ethical manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Geotechnical Engineering, With A Strong Focus On Site Investigation, Foundation Design, And Slope Stability Analysis.

  • Professional Engineer (Pe) License In The State Where The Position Is Located.

  • Extensive Knowledge And Experience With Geotechnical Software And Design Tools Such As Plaxis, Geostudio, And Slope/W.

  • Excellent Communication And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Lead And Coordinate A Team Of Engineers And Technicians On Various Projects.
