Job Description

We at Tetra Tech are seeking an enthusiastic Environmental Scientist/Planner to join our team. This position will be responsible for providing technical expertise in natural resource planning, environmental impact assessments, and other related duties. The successful candidate must possess a passion for environmental preservation and have a strong commitment to project management and quality control.To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in environmental science, planning, or a related field and at least five years of experience in environmental sciences. You will need to be able to think critically and analytically and have experience developing innovative technology and solutions. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and you will need to be able to work collaboratively in a team environment. Responsibilities: • Provide technical expertise in natural resource planning, environmental impact assessments, and other related duties. • Develop innovative technology and solutions to meet environmental goals. • Think critically and analytically to identify and solve environmental issues. • Prepare and review technical reports related to the environment. • Collaborate with a team to ensure the successful completion of projects. • Monitor and review progress of projects to ensure quality control. • Maintain awareness of current environmental regulations and guidelines. • Participate in public meetings and hearings to present research findings. • Utilize strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information to colleagues and stakeholders.
