Environmental Chemist

Tetra Tech is looking for an Environmental Chemist who is passionate about advancing our mission to protect and preserve the environment. As an Environmental Chemist, you will be responsible for the analysis of geological and environmental samples to identify and quantify hazardous and non-hazardous pollutants. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Chemistry, Geology, or a related field, as well as experience in laboratory and field sampling. Responsibilities:

1. Analyze geological and environmental samples to identify and quantify hazardous and non-hazardous pollutants.
2. Prepare reports summarizing sample results.
3. Develop and maintain an up-to-date understanding of appropriate regulations and standards.
4. Prepare and maintain accurate records of sample collection and laboratory activities.
5. Collect and analyze data in the field to support the laboratory analysis.
6. Develop methods and protocols related to sample collection and laboratory analysis.
7. Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
8. Adhere to safety procedures and protocols.
9. Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies.
10. Ability to properly manage time and prioritize tasks.
