  1. Greet and welcome new team members to the Emergency Management Cadre.
  2. Provide a comprehensive understanding and overview of Tetra Tech's services and mission to new team members.
  3. Explain the role and responsibilities of being a member of the Emergency Management Cadre team.
  4. Train and mentor new team members on emergency management protocols and procedures.
  5. Collaborate with team members to identify potential disaster risks and develop emergency response plans.
  6. Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members during emergency situations.
  7. Conduct research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
  8. Assess and evaluate potential emergency situations and provide recommendations for response strategies.
  9. Coordinate and facilitate emergency preparedness trainings and exercises for clients and communities.
  10. Document and report on emergency management activities and outcomes.
  11. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  12. Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and obstacles during emergency response efforts.
  13. Collaborate with other departments and teams within Tetra Tech to ensure seamless and effective emergency response.
  14. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of team members and clients.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve emergency management processes and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Emergency Management Or A Related Field, Such As Disaster Management Or Homeland Security.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Emergency Management, Preferably In A Leadership Or Management Role.

  • Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Emergency Management Policies, Procedures, And Guidelines.

  • Experience In Developing And Implementing Emergency Response Plans, Conducting Training And Exercises, And Coordinating With Various Stakeholders.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Diverse Teams And Communicate With Stakeholders During High-Stress Situations.
