Biologist/Data Manager

Tetra Tech is looking for an experienced Biologist/Data Manager to join our team. This is an important role that requires strong data management and research skills. The successful candidate will have a passion for helping clients and a keen understanding of the science behind the projects we work on.To be successful, you must have a Master’s degree in Biology or a related field, as well as 3+ years of experience in data management and research. You must also have strong organizational skills, an attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Responsibilities: • Work with clients to develop data management and research strategies • Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets • Utilize GIS and remote sensing techniques to monitor and interpret environmental conditions • Prepare detailed reports and presentations • Assist with the development and implementation of research projects • Maintain accurate records and inventory of data • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and other stakeholders • Stay up to date on relevant trends and scientific developments • Provide technical training and guidance to team members
