Archaeological Field Technician

Tetra Tech is seeking an experienced and passionate Archaeological Field Technician to join our dynamic and motivated team. This individual will be responsible for helping to ensure the protection of cultural resources at archaeological sites in the region. The successful candidate will possess strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a larger team. We are seeking an individual who is knowledgeable in archaeological field techniques, regulations, and standards, and who is committed to providing excellent service to our clients. Responsibilities: • Comply with all archaeological standards and regulations • Lead project teams in the field • Record and analyze archaeological data • Prepare field reports and other documentation • Manage and coordinate field surveys • Maintain accurate records of field research • Monitor site safety and security • Assist in the development of research designs and methods • Assist in the interpretation of archaeological evidence • Participate in public outreach activities • Working independently and as part of a team
