Job Description

Tetra Tech is looking for an experienced Archaeological Field Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should be an enthusiastic, organized, and team-oriented individual who can work independently and is passionate about archaeology.This role requires experience in archaeological field methods, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to perform physical labor in a variety of conditions. The successful candidate must have a valid driver’s license, the ability to pass a background check, and must be able to work in the field for extended periods of time. Knowledge of archaeological regulations, survey techniques, and artifact curation is also required.We are seeking an individual who is excited to join a highly collaborative team and has a commitment to the highest standards of professionalism. Responsibilites: -Perform physical labor in a variety of conditions -Conduct archaeological field methods -Implement survey techniques and artifact curation -Conduct research and analyze data -Collaborate with other team members -Adhere to the highest standards of professionalism -Write reports and present findings -Maintain a valid driver’s license and pass a background check -Follow archaeological regulations
