
Archaeological Field Technician
Tetra Tech is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Archaeological Field Technician team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for archaeology and a commitment to the highest standards of professional excellence.To be considered, applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in anthropology, archaeology, history, or a related field; a minimum of two years of archaeological field experience; knowledge of archaeological field methods; excellent organizational and communication skills; and an ability to work independently and in teams. Responsibilities:
- Participate in archaeological field work, including excavation, survey, and mapping.
- Conduct laboratory work, such as washing and cataloging artifacts.
- Prepare archaeological reports and data analysis.
- Conduct archaeological research and complete literature reviews.
- Maintain a professional working relationship with clients and colleagues.
- Adhere to the highest standards of professional excellence.
- Uphold safety standards while working in the field.
- Utilize knowledge of archaeological field methods.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license.
