- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent quality and timely delivery of materials and components.
- Conduct regular on-site audits and assessments of suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality requirements and specifications for new products and components.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for supplier quality issues, working closely with suppliers to implement effective solutions.
- Monitor and analyze supplier performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers, implementing best practices and driving cost reduction strategies.
- Develop and maintain supplier quality agreements and contracts, outlining expectations and requirements for quality standards.
- Conduct regular training and education sessions with suppliers on quality standards and expectations.
- Stay updated on industry standards and regulations related to supplier quality, ensuring compliance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Communicate and report on supplier quality issues and performance to management and cross-functional teams.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field, With A Focus On Quality Management Or Quality Engineering.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In A Supplier Quality Role, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Engineering Environment.
Strong Understanding Of Quality Control Processes And Methodologies, Including Iso 9001 And As9100.
Experience In Conducting Supplier Audits And Managing Supplier Corrective Action Processes.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams And External Suppliers.
