RF Design Engineer

Responsibilities include developing initial system architecture and block diagram using cascade analysis tools, frequency planning, EM CAD tools. Device evaluation and selection of discrete devices and MMICs for gain, power, noise, linearity. Design and usage of LNA, SSPA, filters, and mixer, frequency multipliers, isolators, couplers, and phase locked oscillator and synthesizers. Supports bid and proposal activities as assigned. May assist in writing technical proposals and perform deratings and Worst-Case-Circuit-Analysis for various Space customers. Works with Document Controls to document new or modified existing designs. Design and support IMA-Integrated-Microwave Sub-Assemblies operating in the frequency from DC to 60GHz range and wide range of microwave components.
