- Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft components to ensure compliance with all relevant quality standards and regulations.
- Identify and report any defects, non-conformities, or discrepancies in a timely and accurate manner.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections using precision equipment and techniques.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and procedures to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve any quality-related issues.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all inspection activities and findings.
- Conduct audits of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes to address any quality issues.
- Continuously monitor and assess the effectiveness of quality control procedures and make recommendations for improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in quality control methods and technologies.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing inspections.
- Communicate effectively with team members, managers, and external stakeholders regarding quality-related matters.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to quality control and safety.
- Provide guidance and training to other team members on quality control processes and procedures.
- Contribute to the overall success of the organization by upholding a high standard of quality and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Quality Control/Inspection In A Repair Station Environment.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Faa Regulations, Specifically Part 145, Part 43, And Part 65.
Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Perform Thorough Inspections And Audits.
Experience With Quality Management Systems And Procedures, Including As9100 And Iso 9001.
Ability To Read And Interpret Engineering Drawings And Technical Specifications.
