Fiber Optic Assembler

Perform a variety of intricate wiring, bonding, on fiber optic cable, connectors, electrical Penetrators, junction boxes and similar equipment under direction of supervisor. Must be able to read and understand schematic wiring diagrams and process sheets. Must be able to use simple electrical instruments to make polarity determinations, measure insulating Resistance, perform dielectric withstanding voltage tests. Must be able to assemble properly and use effectively various molds and plastic injection devices. Must be able to work from detailed instructions on standard assemblies with guidance and supervision. Product meets specifications. Quality level is maintained. Maintain Teledyne standards of performance and comply with housekeeping, safety policies and procedures.
