- Design and develop electrical and mechanical test plans for new product introductions (NPI).
- Execute and oversee all aspects of testing, including setting up and running tests, analyzing data, and reporting results.
- Identify and troubleshoot potential issues during the testing process, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, production engineers, and quality control, to ensure all product specifications are met.
- Utilize knowledge of industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance and safety in all testing procedures.
- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and trends in electrical and mechanical testing techniques.
- Provide technical support to other departments as needed, including participating in design reviews and providing input on product improvements.
- Document all testing processes and results accurately and thoroughly.
- Consistently meet project deadlines and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Continuously seek out opportunities for process improvement to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor and train junior test engineers as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Or Mechanical Engineering Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In The Aerospace Or Defense Industry.
Strong Knowledge Of Electrical And Mechanical Testing Methods And Equipment.
Proficiency In Reading Technical Drawings And Schematics.
Excellent Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Troubleshoot Complex Systems.
