  1. Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and achieve revenue targets for the Gas & Flame Detection division in the America’s region.
  2. Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to ensure they are motivated, trained, and equipped to effectively sell Teledyne’s gas and flame detection solutions.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders to identify opportunities for business development and expand our market presence.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  5. Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify new market opportunities and drive innovation in our product offerings.
  6. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our product portfolio, features, and benefits to effectively communicate value propositions and overcome customer objections.
  7. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and development opportunities to ensure the sales team meets and exceeds their targets.
  8. Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for business growth.
  9. Represent Teledyne at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
  10. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including ethical standards and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In The Gas & Flame Detection Industry: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In The Gas And Flame Detection Industry, With A Proven Track Record Of Success In Sales And Business Development.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Director Of Sales, The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team Of Sales Professionals. This Includes The Ability To Set Goals, Provide Guidance, And Make Strategic Decisions.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of The America’s Market: The Director Of Sales Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The America’s Market, Including Industry Trends, Key Players, And Customer Needs. This Knowledge Is Essential For Developing Effective Sales Strategies And Identifying New Business Opportunities.

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills: The Candidate Should Have Exceptional Communication And Negotiation Skills To Effectively Communicate With Customers, Partners, And Internal Stakeholders. This Includes The Ability To Build Strong Relationships And Close Deals.
