Survey Technician

Perform construction surveying and staking as needed. Surveys as-built conditions and completes as-built surfaces. Maintain proper field notes and documentation as well as various reports related to regulatory, legal, permitting or compliance purposes through intermediate-advanced use of spreadsheets and word processing. Collect, imports, manages, organizes, and analyzes G data. Participate in data collection that is primarily outside and often requires travel by vehicle or foot and ensures work is completed safely while in an arctic environment Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of environmental risks and hazards as well as complies with safety policies and procedures and ensures daily workplace inspections are done in order to Geographic Information System accurately identify and correct workplace hazards. Ensure compliance with all established policies and standard operating procedures and advises coworkers and visitors of such policies and procedures as required. Perform interpretation of third party engineering drawings and design criteria.
