Senior Software Engineer - Cyber Security
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Software Engineer - Cyber Security to join the T. Rowe Price team. As a leader in the Cyber Security space, we are looking for an individual that can help develop and deliver advanced security solutions for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of software engineering principles and a commitment to delivering secure solutions to our customers. The Senior Software Engineer - Cyber Security will work closely with our team of engineers and security analysts to design and implement secure applications. We are looking for a creative problem-solver who can quickly assess and develop solutions to complex issues. This individual must have a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.Qualifications:• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years of experience in cyber security• Proven track record of developing secure applications• Expertise in software development methodologies and cyber security principles • Knowledge of current cyber threats and security trends• Experience in developing secure coding standards• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Java, and Python• Experience in developing secure authentication and authorization systems• Working knowledge of encryption algorithms and best practices• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement secure applications and solutions for customers.
- Utilize software engineering principles to design applications.
- Stay up-to-date with current cyber threats and security trends and develop secure coding standards accordingly.
- Program in languages such as C++, Java, and Python.
- Develop secure authentication and authorization systems.
- Design and implement encryption algorithms and best practices.
- Collaborate with engineers and security analysts to identify and address cyber security challenges.
- Monitor performance of applications to ensure security.
- Create detailed documentation of development processes and procedures.
- Troubleshoot reported issues and develop solutions.
