- Manage a portfolio of private market investments, including private equity, real estate, and other alternative assets.
- Develop and implement investment strategies for the portfolio in line with the firm's overall goals and objectives.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and economic conditions to make informed investment decisions.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments and make recommendations to the investment committee.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, providing regular updates on portfolio performance and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements related to private market investments.
- Collaborate with other team members, including research analysts and client service representatives, to achieve optimal results for clients.
- Stay updated on industry developments and participate in professional development opportunities to continuously enhance knowledge and skills.
- Represent the firm in client meetings, conferences, and other industry events.
- Meet or exceed performance targets set by the firm and communicate progress to senior management.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of investment processes and procedures within the Private Market Solutions team.
- Mentor and train junior team members to support their professional growth and development.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of all investment activities and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Uphold the firm's mission and values, promoting a culture of excellence, integrity, and client-centricity.
Extensive Experience In Private Market Investing: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Strong Track Record Of Successfully Managing Private Market Investments, With A Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In The Field.
Strong Analytical And Financial Skills: A Portfolio Manager In This Role Should Possess Advanced Analytical Abilities And A Deep Understanding Of Financial Concepts, Including Valuation Techniques, Risk Management, And Portfolio Construction.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Private Market Asset Classes: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Various Private Market Asset Classes, Including Private Equity, Real Estate, And Private Credit. This Includes A Deep Knowledge Of Market Trends, Deal Structures, And Investment Strategies.
