Legal Counsel - Global Advisory (SMA)

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Legal Counsel - Global Advisory (SMA) to join our team at T. Rowe Price. In this role, you will provide proactive legal advice and counsel on a wide range of legal matters, including securities, corporate governance, and regulatory requirements. We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of financial services and the ability to think strategically and innovatively.The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of legal experience in the financial services/asset management industry, including experience with FINRA, SEC, and other regulatory bodies. Responsibilities:

1. Provide proactive legal advice and counsel on a wide range of legal matters, including securities, corporate governance, and regulatory requirements.
2. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
3. Review and analyze legal documents and briefs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
4. Assist in developing, implementing, and managing legal initiatives and strategies.
5. Monitor legal and regulatory developments affecting the organization and provide timely updates.
6. Develop and manage litigation strategies and work with external counsel as needed.
7. Provide training and advice to internal stakeholders on legal matters.
8. Develop and manage contracts and other legal documents.
9. Represent the company in legal proceedings and hearings.
10. Prepare and review legal memos and other communications.
