Warehouse Selector

We are looking for a highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented Warehouse Selector to join the Sysco team! As an integral part of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for selecting and packing orders, loading and unloading customer orders, and counting and verifying inventory. To be successful in this role, you must have a positive attitude and be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.To be considered for this position, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of warehouse experience, and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. You must also possess excellent oral and written communication skills, be able to lift up to 50 lbs., and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Select and pack orders according to customer requirements
2. Load and unload customer orders to appropriate delivery vehicles
3. Count and verify inventory accuracy
4. Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment
5. Communicate with warehouse staff and management to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently
6. Use forklifts and other machinery to transport items within the warehouse
7. Operate a computerized inventory management system
8. Stay up-to-date on changes in inventory levels and customer order status
9. Adhere to all safety and operational regulations
10. Assist in other warehouse tasks as needed
