Job Description

At Sysco, we are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Transportation Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support and assistance to our transportation department. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational and multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. They must have the ability to work with minimal supervision, be detail-oriented and have a customer-oriented attitude. We are seeking a candidate who has a minimum of two years’ experience in a transportation-related role. The successful candidate should also have a high school diploma or equivalent certification and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Responsibilities: -Manage and maintain the transportation department’s administrative records and documents -Provide support with scheduling, routing, and tracking for transportation operations -Assist with resolving customer inquiries and complaints -Develop and implement efficient processes to maximize efficiency -Maintain and update transportation databases -Prepare and submit reports as needed -Coordinate with vendors and customers as needed -Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of materials -Support other departments and divisions with transportation-related tasks and activities -Perform other related duties as assigned
