Supply Chain Operations Intern

Sysco is looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Supply Chain Operations team as an Intern. The ideal candidate for this role should possess a passion for problem-solving and be eager to learn about the supply chain industry. As an Intern, you will have the opportunity to get hands-on experience and to help us develop new strategies and processes to improve our operations.To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of supply chain operations and a keen interest in the industry. We are looking for an individual who has strong communication and organizational skills, excellent analytical abilities, and a drive to achieve results. Previous experience in a supply chain operations role is preferred but not required. A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is also desired.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the development of new strategies and processes to improve supply chain operations.
2. Analyze supply chain operations to identify opportunities for improvement.
3. Maintain accurate records of supply chain operations and transactions.
4. Develop and implement effective procedures for tracking and monitoring supply chain activities.
5. Monitor industry trends and developments related to supply chain operations.
6. Provide support and guidance to other members of the supply chain operations team.
7. Assist in the development and implementation of best practices for supply chain operations.
8. Utilize problem-solving skills to address issues and challenges related to supply chain operations.
9. Work closely with other departments and external vendors to ensure smooth operations.
10. Communicate effectively with key stakeholders to ensure that goals and objectives are met.
