Sr Data Engineer

Sysco is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Sr Data Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This role will involve developing and managing the data pipeline, data warehouse and other data-related applications. The ideal candidate should have a passion for data engineering and a strong understanding of data engineering principles and processes.We’re looking for someone with a minimum of five years of experience in data engineering, designing, building and maintaining data pipelines, data warehouses and other data-related applications. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of NoSQL, SQL, and other data engineering tools including Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka. Additionally, the candidate should have experience with developing and deploying data-driven applications, as well as developing and implementing data security best practices.The Sr Data Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our data, and will be responsible for developing and maintaining data architecture, data mapping, data modeling, data access and data analysis. A successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of data engineering principles and processes, and be an enthusiastic team player with a passion for data engineering.
