Security & Asset Protection Intern

The ideal candidate will possess the required qualifications listed below and be eager to learn and develop their skill set.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor's Degree in Security, Criminal Justice, or related field• Previous experience in a security or asset protection related position• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays• Advanced knowledge of security systems and safety protocols• Excellent communication and customer service skills• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and patrol assigned areas to detect any suspicious activity or potential security risks.
2. Investigate potential security incidents and take necessary actions to ensure the safety of customers, employees, and assets.
3. Utilize security systems and equipment to monitor and control access to buildings and other areas as required.
4. Respond to emergency situations and provide necessary assistance.
5. Maintain records of security incidents and other related activities.
6. Train and advise staff on safety protocols and procedures.
7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the safety and security of the company’s assets.
8. Develop and implement security policies and procedures.
9. Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries and requests in a timely manner.
10. Keep up to date on industry trends and best practices.
