As an Outbound Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse and ensuring that our outbound shipments are processed efficiently and accurately. - Oversee and manage the daily operations of the warehouse, including scheduling, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
- Ensure that all outbound shipments are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency.
- Monitor and maintain warehouse metrics and performance, implementing improvements as needed to optimize operations.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and transportation, to coordinate outbound shipments and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to warehouse staff to promote growth and development.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline warehouse operations and increase productivity.
- Monitor and control warehouse expenses, keeping within budgetary guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in warehouse management to ensure Sysco remains competitive in the market.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Warehouse Management Or Supervisory Role, Preferably In A Fast-Paced Outbound Distribution Environment.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Motivate And Manage A Team Of Warehouse Associates.
Proficient In Warehouse Management Systems And Related Software, With A Strong Understanding Of Inventory Control And Order Fulfillment Processes.
Excellent Organizational And Time Management Skills, With The Ability To Prioritize Tasks And Meet Strict Deadlines In A High-Volume Setting.
Knowledge Of Safety Regulations And Procedures, With A Commitment To Promoting A Safe Working Environment For All Warehouse Employees.
