Job Description

The National Vice President of Sales at Sysco is a key leadership role responsible for setting the vision and strategy for the sales force. This role requires a high degree of business acumen, executive presence, and the ability to build strong relationships with customers. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of sales leadership experience, preferably in the food industry, as well as a successful track record of building and managing sales teams in a multi-state environment. In addition to strong sales proficiency, the National Vice President of Sales must possess excellent communication and presentation skills and be comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and meet organizational goals.
  2. Lead a multi-state sales team to reach monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
  4. Monitor industry trends and market conditions to identify sales opportunities.
  5. Develop and implement effective sales processes and procedures.
  6. Establish and monitor performance metrics for the sales team.
  7. Provide leadership and mentorship to the sales team to ensure high-performance standards.
  8. Create and deliver compelling presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
  9. Collaborate with other internal departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  10. Develop and manage the budget for the sales team.
