
Merchandising Assistant
Sysco is looking for a highly motivated and detail oriented Merchandising Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing assistance with category management, merchandising, and promotional activities. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter who is eager to learn, build relationships, and think strategically.The successful candidate must have outstanding organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. You should also have a strong understanding of current market trends, a passion for customer service, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment. Responsibilities:
- Monitor current market trends and customer preferences to ensure the company is meeting customer demands.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and customers.
- Track and analyze sales data and make strategic recommendations for category management, merchandising, and promotional activities.
- Prepare detailed reports on promotional activities and customer feedback.
- Assist with creating and implementing plans for product launches and promotional campaigns.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure merchandise is properly stocked and priced.
- Lead and manage projects from start to finish.
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage inventory levels and monitor stock availability.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction.
