Manager, Safety

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the safety and risk management activities for our organization. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement safety and risk management strategies, policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other relevant laws.
2. Monitor safety performance and inspect facilities to ensure safety standards are met.
3. Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root cause and develop corrective action plans.
4. Prepare and present safety training to staff and other stakeholders.
5. Design and implement safety programs to reduce workplace hazards and risks.
6. Generate reports and conduct continuous improvement activities related to safety and risk management.
7. Serve as the point of contact for all safety related issues.
8. Keep up to date with the latest safety regulations and best practices.
9. Develop and maintain relationships with external safety agencies and organizations.
10. Monitor budget and resources in relation to safety initiatives.
