- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records for all products and materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify any discrepancies or shortages.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of products and materials.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize inventory management.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and accurate inventory flow.
- Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control policies and procedures.
- Communicate inventory updates and issues to management and other team members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any inventory-related problems or issues.
- Utilize inventory management software and systems to track and manage inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards for all inventory.
- Train and support other team members on proper inventory control procedures.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory data.
- Analyze inventory data and provide insights and recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation guidelines.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent, With A Preference For Candidates With A College Degree In Business, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
At Least 2 Years Of Experience In Inventory Control Or Supply Chain Management, Preferably In A Foodservice Or Distribution Environment.
Familiarity With Inventory Management Software And Systems, Such As Sap Or Oracle, And Proficiency In Microsoft Excel.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Resolve Discrepancies In Inventory Levels, As Well As Optimize Inventory Levels For Cost Effectiveness.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Effectively Communicate Inventory Needs And Updates To Management.
